STUDENTS’ SUCCESS:
Albert Mbecha
He was a very humble lad, very focused, selfless and most importantly an eager character. His commitment certainly awarded him the rare opportunity. He got awarded a scholarship opportunity by Equity Bank Group Kenya. It was a well deserved award for it highlighted his constant commitment to excel and emerge the best. We are humbled by his dedication and we wish you all the best Albert.
Lisa Wangechi
Lisa was among one of our most social students. Since joining NES she proved to be leader in or outside the class room. She was part of the school’s swimming team. Marvelous as she was, she got really good grades and followed her dream to pursue medicine and is working her way over the medical year. The future is bright and we proud to have had you here.
Elvis the Baller
Elvis. This is one of the tallest alumni of NES – about 6ft 3″ He was a good basketball player (Elite Senior in 2013) and joined USIU for bachelors in hotel management and is now working at Radisson Blue. Wishing you all the best. Remain humble, focused and objective…..and the sky shall not be the limit…
Visit by Karen Manneke
This team from from Kenya Counselors visited NES. They were led by Karen Manneke (standing 2nd from left). Karen is an alumni of Nyahururu Elite Senior School (class of 2005). Having sat for her “O” level IGCSE exam, Karen joined Daystar University. She and her colleagues are qualified psychologists. Come first term 2019, they shall undertake a drug awareness program for students and parents at Elite. Our business deal dwelt on how to arm the Elite fraternity against drugs – for it is better for one to be safe than sorry. All the best Karen and your team.
Visit by Prof. Maureen Kinyua
Elite Senior School had the pleasure of being visited by Professor Maureen Kinyua. Prof. Kinyua is a professor of Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Davis. She did her KCSE in 2003 at Elite Senior School, Nyahururu scoring an A- (minus). Thereafter, she left for further studies in United States.Today, she offered some inspiring thoughts to our students. Many students were inspired and excited at the thought that it is possible to realise their dreams. On the picture, from left Prof. Kinyua”s mum, Mrs. K. Waithaka (Principal Nyahururu Elite), Prof. M. Kinyua and her English Teacher. Kudos!!! We are proud of you.
