The upper primary offers Kenyan 8.4.4 system of education. At the end of the eighth year students sit for KCPE exams. The subjects undertaken are: English, Social Studies , Science, Maths, Christian Religious Studies, Computer and Life Skills. The teaching approach emphasis on practical learning and not route learning and recall. The student’s go for field trips to the Kenyan parliament and even the local Magistrate’s court.
The lower primary has adopted the new competency based curriculum. The subjects taught include: Mathematics, English, Environmental, hygiene and nutrition, Kiswahili. The activities and practical learning approach enhance learning. In this section we emphasize on each child’s literacy and numeracy skills. We are cognizant that this is the foundation of all future learning.
